Bach To Rock Nanuet is currently seeking part-time instructors who can teach voice and/or other instruments.  Health insurance and 401k available. Position  Responsibilities: * Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements * Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson experience Benefits: * HEALTH INSURANCE is available to all teachers who meet a moderate weekly hours requirement. * A 401k RETIREMENT PLAN is also available to all employees who accumulate a minimum time with the School. Requirements: * Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students * Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique relevant to primary instrument * Must be able to sight read * Effective time management and organizational skills to keep students on task * Experience teaching youth and/or beginning musicians * Ability to interact effectively with children and adults * Ability to pass a background check * Ability to help with events featuring our students bands and the school in general (on paid basis) * Must live west of the Hudson River (due to traffic considerations).   Bach to Rock Nanuet offers the opportunity to work a flexible part time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians.
