Senior Systems Engineer (ARAT-19-1549-F) Bowhead is seeking a talented Senior System Engineer to support the U.S. Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Infrastructure Enhancement Activity in Aberdeen, MD. The Senior System Engineer must be an accomplished problem solver with strong analytical skills who is creative, resourceful and able to work both independently and as part of a team in support of on-going projects. This individual interacts with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design as well as participates in the development of test strategies. The Senior System Engineer is responsible for solving engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems). RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Support and coordinate the requirements development for acquisition programs. Manage and support systems and software engineering aspects of acquisition programs with a primary focus on the software sustainment phase of the life-cycle. Provide oversight of the requirements, design, and development of systems during all phases. Identify infrastructure and system-related issues for systems transitioning into PPSS that impact software sustainment support post transition.
