Sr Program Director Project Management (Construction) The Senior Program Director (Construction) is responsible for the work undertaken as part of their respective Program(s)/Portfolio(s) of work. This role provides a consistent and unified direction to direct reports and overall Project Management implementation teams regarding asset management, governance, and Project Management policy and procedures. This role acts as a top-level escalation path for issues between both NYPA departments as well as between NYPA and 3rd parties. Liaising with senior site management as well as Operations Portfolio Management Group (OPMG) and Asset Management teams, this role ensures there is an accurate forward-looking plan of work that accounts for company objectives and asset management goals, while taking into account the resources and other constraints inherent to the ability of NYPA to complete the work. New, emergent, or unbudgeted work, as well as work recommended for deferral by OPMG or other groups is vetted and confirmed through this role. Resourcing decisions will be made at this level to meet future work needs, ensuring resource pools receive appropriate skills and training required to meet future need, and ensuring resource pools are allocated appropriately across all projects. Ensure the implementation of all projects is coordinated and planned between sites in multiple regions in a way that is consistent with requirements and that other Senior Directors are provided with accurate information regarding construction resources needed to complete work. This role also acts to maintain and enforce all construction requirements and quality standards as per NYPA and relevant local, state, federal, and EH&S rules and regulations. Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring projects existing within their respective program(s) are managed in compliance with appropriate department and company policies and procedures and that new procedures are incorporated as required. Responsible for adherence to and dissemination of key information as it relates to Project Governance and ensures appropriate Governance procedures are followed by all Projects. Responsible for the setting of and adherence to strategic annual goals for the program(s) of work. Responsible for setting overall KPIs for the program(s) of work to meet stated goals, and communication of objectives, progress, issues, and successes to senior leadership. Acts as the top-level escalation path for 3rd party disputes/issues and acts as chief liaison to departments external to Project Management for mediation purposes when issues cannot be resolved at lower levels. Responsible for identifying, assessing, determining risk mitigation strategies, and escalating at the program,/portfolio level in alignment with the Asset Management Risk Framework. Completed on a yearly basis, and updated as needed, the Senior Director is responsible for compiling and incorporating information from Asset Management, OPMG, as well as from Program Directors and other Direct Reports in order to complete a realistic and strategic ten-year plan of work for their respective program(s) that incorporates Asset Management Strategy, constraints of the program(s), and estimates of cost and resource requirements for each undertaking. Aligns and communicates with OPMG annually or as needed on the development of and any changes to ten-year plan, communicates significant changes to that ten-year plan on an annual as well as on an as-needed basis to ensure efficiency with their respective program(s) of work and adjust as required based on optimization, strategic, and resource requirements. Responsible for long-term resource planning within the program(s) of work, ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met and adequate skills are fostered so as to reduce the need for long-term staffing augmentation. Works with OPMG to provide guidance and approval for the inclusion of work into the portfolio, whether the work is planned for future implementation or unbudgeted, and that the inclusion of the work is necessary and achievable given any resource constraints. Works with OPMG to provide guidance and approval for the deferment of work that is required due to portfolio requirements. Ensures significant shifts in labor and non-labor resources as it affects either the current or future year plans of work are communicated appropriately. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Technical & Theoretical Knowledge: Ability to assemble and lead a diverse team of administrative, technical, engineering and construction resources to accomplish program objectives. Excellent understanding of current project management, project controls, and construction management best practices as well as the reporting tools thereof, in order to ensure appropriate interpretation of information reported by program and project teams. Ability to interpret organizational and asset management objectives into a plan of work that accomplishes strategic objectives and be able to efficiently adjust plan(s) to meet critical shifts to overall strategy. Ability to make decisions that benefit the entirety of the program(s) as opposed to decisions that benefit individual projects. Demonstrated ability in mediating issues within the Project Management department as well as between the Project Management department and other NYPA departments, and 3rd parties. Substantial knowledge of relevant technical disciplines. Must have good knowledge of NYPA facilities and assets existing within the program(s), and maintain good working relationships with leadership at each NYPA facility. Must have demonstrated experience in successfully managing Projects and Programs according to the standards and practices employed in the industry and by NYPA. Organizational & Industry Perspective Knowledge Breadth : Attentive to changes and advancements in the industry, and develop industry-wide expertise. Broad perspective across multiple engineering disciplines. In addition to a thorough knowledge of the electrical utility industry, both technical, business and management perspectives is required. Aware of and sensitive to resource issues as it relates to union work as well as management personnel at all NYPA facilities that are affected by the program(s) of work. Minimum of 10-12 relevant years experience in Project / Construction Management, preferably in the electric utility industry. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year. Design Build Institute of America certification preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year. Experience in or ability to manage a portfolio of programs/projects ranging in value from $100k to $100M. NYS PE License required. I: Job Summary Our drug products contract manufacturing site is searching for a skilled and innovative Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Quality on the Floor team. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for assuring the quality of products manufactured, Packaging & Inspection Operations support, CGMP compliance, Quality on the Floor continuous improvement, and client satisfaction. II: Responsibilities Key Duties will include: Perform product and labeling visual over-inspections Conduct GMP area in-process audits and walkthroughs Complete Quality on the Floor batch record review Monitor key Packaging & Inspection processes Review and approve GMP records Participate in daily tier meetings with site partners Partner with Operations to meet schedule requirements and resolve challenges Supports / assists timely closure of CAPAs, gap analyses, and product complaints. Maintain company quality and safety standards Author and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support Packaging Quality on the Floor improvement initiatives Initiate deviations and assist in area investigations Train Packaging & Inspection personnel to help resolve issues This will be a second shift (2:00 to 10:30 p.m.) Monday thru Friday position.
