Job Description The U.S. Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Lead is accountable to implementing integrated Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategies, tactics, and programs that position TD AMCB as the bank of choice for diverse communities and an inclusive workplace reflective of the communities we serve. This role works in close partnership with Enterprise D&I team, and AMCB HR team to support the achievement of our business objectives, aligned to the Enterprise D&I strategy. The incumbent dually reports to the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, and Head of U.S. Talent. Job Requirements Act as a strategic consultant and advocate to on D&I matters. As a subject matter expert, provide business and HR teams with insight, expert advice, guidance, and intelligence on current diversity related issues and potential impacts to the organization. Develop and deliver on AMCB D & I plan aligned to business needs and enterprise standards. Work with areas of focus / regional council leads to understand opportunities. Ensure the annual plan is well managed and executed locally. Actively contribute to the integrated talent management practices at AMCB and identify gaps and opportunities. Partner with D&I Program Mgmt partners to execute plan tactics. Ensure enterprise wide D&I initiatives and directives are carried out effectively in AMCB while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and principles. Collect and use data to assess the effectiveness of initiatives, to enhance their success and to achieve positive, measurable results. Facilitate matrix alignment across jurisdictions and support cross border initiatives and needs. Coordinate and ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of business specific D&I issues. Manage and facilitate AMCB Diversity Leadership team agendas, meetings and follow ups. Partner with other talent practice areas as well as HRBPs to deliver D&I related asks. Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to portfolio. Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues per enterprise policy / guidelines and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed. Monitor service, productivity and assess efficiency levels and implement continuous process / performance improvements where opportunities present. Develop and maintain key industry associations, internal and external relationships, ensuring we continue to leverage best practices. Participate as an active member of the AMCB Talent COE as well as Enterprise D&I Leadership teams. Anticipate future needs, provides insight and/or contributes to the development of long term strategic initiatives for the overall function. Qualifications Experience: Bachelor's degree required 10+ years of work experience with Diversity and Inclusion Programs Proven experience and familiarity with the D & I industry, including knowledge of trade organizations Strong commitment to and exposure with EEO/AA Strong project management skills Excellent oral and written communications skills at Executive Level Experience consulting, leading and advising senior executives Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and database software Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team Strong negotiation techniques Detail and goal oriented with proven analytical skills Strong knowledge of information technology Inclusiveness At TD, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
