We're looking for an Infrastructure Service Engineer to assist in the delivery, management and improvement of IT services in support the firm's business and meet user needs, using a set of well-defined best practices based on ITIL. You will help to lead the development, implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement in IT Service Management processes as well as establishing, measuring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to services, processes, operations, and delivery. Responsibilities: * Contribute directly to the strategy, development and quality of IT Service Management and the firm's service delivery capability. * Be part of specific IT Services and ensure their effective delivery, management and improvement to meet the business needs. * Active stakeholder and driver in underlying operations process and infrastructure, to direct continuous improvements across the supporting teams to meet existing customer contracts/statements of work, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) and compliance requirements. * Create, monitor, and report on a comprehensive set of metrics and KPIs based on the IT service deliverables and the agreements above. * Own and lead the execution of the process development and improvement roadmap for multiple ITIL processes to improve alignment and business outcomes. * Develop both short and long-term service and process goals as well as maturity levels to be achieved over the specified time period. * Partner and collaborate with other teams to deliver a holistic IT Service Management program with a coordinated set of continuous improvement initiatives. * Work within the management structure to provide thought leadership on ITIL process development, the current position, roadmap and strategic direction. Requirements: * Hands on experience with the Microsoft Server product line, up to and including Windows Server 2016 edition. This includes traditional hardware-based servers and virtual machines using VMware hypervisor. * Experience administering, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Active Directory * This position will need to support our current SharePoint 2013 farm and manage a move to new systems running SharePoint 2016. You should understand the SharePoint server roles and have some farm and site administration knowledge with regards to installation, backup/restore, monitoring, and web protocols. Familiarity with SharePoint security models and access control is necessary. * The successful candidate will also have understanding of IIS Server and understand some development basics such as the AGILE process and SDLC concepts. * Also required for this position is experience with managing large Group Policy Object implementations. You will be reviewing our existing layouts, work with our Desktop teams, and make / implement recommendations how to simplify and improve our GPo landscape. * Excellent understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and storage protocols NAS, CIFS, and iSCSI. * Exposure to Microsoft technologies: Exchange, Skype for Business, SCCM, SQL Server are a plus * Experience with enterprise storage systems (NetApp), enterprise backup software systems (Commvault), Mobile Device Management (MobileIron) system, and monitoring tools (SCOM/SolarWinds) will help differentiate you from other candidates. Qualifications: * 5 years of relevant experience in driving technology transformation in line with business requirements. * Bachelor's degree * Microsoft MTA / MCSA / MCSE certification preferred * Collaborative, consultative and effective in a consensus-based decision making culture.
