Develop product models to validate calculations in the administrative systems and assist in providing actuarial support on Individual Annuity products. Responsibilities: * Develop product models in spreadsheets using macros for handling massive amount of data and complicated formulas for calculation, based on product specifications * Independently calculate expected policy results to validate calculations in the administrative system * Analyze data and results, investigate discrepancies, report findings to supervisor/manager and IT, and resolve issues with IT * Track all issues and problems and create status report * Assist in individual annuity new product implementation * Assist in providing ongoing actuarial support on Individual Annuity products to various areas across company QUALIFICATIONS: Skills/Requirements: * Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Actuarial Science, preferably with familiarity of actuarial calculations and some actuarial examinations passed * Excellent analytical skill * Advanced skills in Excel, Access and VBA * Details oriented, self-motivated, fast learner and self-starter * Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills * Team player and able to work independently * Ability to work in a fast pace environment and under tight deadlines * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously * Overtime during peak project times ABOUT AXA: We have been providing stability and reliability to our clients since 1859 to help them live their lives with confidence, to give them peace of mind, and enable them to realize their dreams for their loved ones and their legacy.
