The Quality Technician will maintain consistent quality of production by assisting in the development and maintenance of an ISO compliant quality management system. This position involves working within the Quality Department as a support to the inspection and compliance functions, ensuring materials and products meet requirements. The Quality Technician provides knowledge and experience on the use and monitoring of test equipment or gages. The Quality Technician provides administrative support to the department such as creating and distributing various reports required both internally and externally to the department.
Provide assistance for implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.
Need to have good MS Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, data dumps and assess, generate charts for a meeting, data analysis.Experience running queries on existing data sources and use of technical skills to manipulate the data for analysis and trends.
5 or more years experience in a quality focused role within a manufacturing environment.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Data analysis and process improvement skills.
Able to follow directions and read blueprints.
Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
Perform inspections utilizing computer aided vision measurement systems and/or measurement tools such as calipers, pin gages, etc.
Quantitative analysis, analyzes trends, tolerance for ambiguity.
Prior computer experience some sort of Enterprise Resource. Using functions within to complete tasks, also using SharePoint applications.
Look up information, dump data from it.
Experience with measurement equipment and microscopes.
Demonstrated understanding or aptitude to understand ISO quality management system requirements and regulatory requirements.
