The Ecommerce Data Insights and Pricing leader will work in conjunction with the Digital Category Management and Marketing Teams to provide digital insight, analysis and pricing information to support the consumer segment. He/she will partner deeply and influence the eCommerce team to deliver meaningful data-led insights that will result in increased revenue and profitability across multiple digital channels, marketplaces and categories. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the continued profitable growth of the Consumer Segment. Ideally this person will be located in Richmond, VA or Atlanta, GA; however, remote will be considered for the right person.Key responsibilities: Lead an organization capable of providing innovative ideas to support growth and profitability of the consumer segment and improve margin through pricing and data insights.Contribute insights to core Consumer Segment strategies, including pricing, marketing and category management across multiple digital channels including .com and marketplaces. Manage the successful implementation of best-in-class technology to ensure pricing and data insights excellence across the team.Acquire talent and tools necessary to take a proactive, influence based approach to driving strategy and growth across the consumer segment through data insights and pricing excellence.Enable Digital Category Management and Marketing teams to take action by providing proper tools (including IT enabled reporting), recommendations and business support.Work in conjunction with the leaders of the Digital Category Managers and eCommerce Marketing Team to anticipate business needs for e-commerce presence/positioning - taking on industry change, pricing/competitive environment and consumer insights to understand where digital positioning should be now and needs to go next.Lead team to develop and implement interactive, agile and robust dashboards, scorecards, metrics and tools to provide a holistic view of the ecommerce portfolio to enable rapid insights generation and track progress against business plans and make recommendations when necessary to drive execution of B2C business. Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to leverage enterprise capabilities and develop and maintain a roadmap of ongoing methods for enhancing data capture and drive ongoing development of future insights including machine learning, optimization and AI. Key Skills: Proven leadership skills and the ability to positively influence others to promote change and achieve enterprise objectivesStrong organization building skills, including talent attraction and establishing links across functions, ability to build skills in direct reports, and to motivate and manage team membersStrategic problem solver with big picture orientation who has ability to zoom in and zoom out Experience and knowledgeable in consumer B2C marketing & retail, including Amazon and WalmartExperience being immersed in business functions, understanding the various components of business process success and/or failureDeep analytical and data modeling skills with applied experience in using data to develop insights and repeatable real-time decision-support models by applying statistical and mathematical methodologies to influence change in both B2C business strategy and operational executionExperience working with database-driven sites and content management tools including experience with SQL, Google Big Query in querying and blending datasets to generate business insightsStrong commercial and business insights background with experience using statistical analysis and data visualization platforms (e.g. Google data studio, Tableau, Excel, PowerBI, R Studio, etc.)Understanding of usage and application of independent and channel specific analytical technology, methodologies, codebases and toolsets such as Snowflake, Python, Regression Analysis, Neural Network Analysis, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Amazon Feedback Manager etc.Ability to translate complex, data-intense analytics into actionable recommendationsVery strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey findings to both peers and upper-level managementExcellent business acumen and a comfort interacting at all levels of the organizationMinimum Requirements 10+ Years of Strategy, Analytics and/or Business Management Experience with increasing level of responsibility in B2C Ecommerce, Management Consulting or related fieldEducation MBA or Master's Degree in preferred field (such as Applied Science, Marketing, Operations Research) or equivalent experience Bachelor's Degree required McKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
