More information at: Position The Sr.Manager, Security and Compliance will lead the security & compliance efforts for the Horizon Cloud Engineering team. This position will be responsible for working across the horizon cloud product line and broader EUC engineering organization to design a compliant and centralized SaaS solution that can support VMware's FedRAMP authorizations as well as additional public sector compliance requirements. The Security Manager will also work with product engineering teams to perform gap analysis of their existing products and work with engineering teams to address the commercial and federal compliance requirements. The Sr Manager, Security and Compliance, will also help lead and participate in design discussions/product architecture reviews and help engineering teams design products that adhere to FedRAMP and broader security and compliance requirementsThis team within Horizon Cloud is responsible for leading the overall cloud Infrastructure for the Horizon Cloud service. You will work cross-functionally with leaders in SRE, architecture, core development, QE, and product management to ensure alignment, awareness, and consistency throughout the organization. The role requires familiarity with current DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure orchestration, and cloud service delivery. Lead the compliance efforts cross -functionally to achieve the federal and commercial compliance requirements including FedRAMP Design and implement solutions driven by public and commercial compliance requirementsLead and support the public and commercial sector SaaS audits Collaborate with product engineering teams to understand their application architecture and provide guidance on how to meet compliance requirements Collaborate with product engineering teams to translate security and compliance requirements to engineering requirementsMeet the requirements to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance as necessaryExperience designing and implementing large-scale SaaS solutions for the public sectorExpertise in FedRAMP, PCI, and similar federal and commercial compliance requirements Familiarity with modern Dev/SecOps practices Experience with Docker, K8s, or other container management systems Experience implementing CICD pipelines for compliant SaaS applications This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, and therefore any potential offer of employment is contingent upon verification of candidate's U.S. citizenship.Experience with infrastructure and application vulnerability scanning : Engineering and Technology: Product Dev Management: Business Leadership/: Full Time: Yes: 2020-10-27VMware: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
