Description: **Job Title:** **DevOps/DevSecOps Engineer** **Job Code: SWP3** **Job Location:** **Herndon, VA 20120** **Job Description:** Seeking a DevOps/DevSecOps focused Engineer to join the Engineering Team at L3 Harris Adaptive Methods in Herndon VA and to support software development, deployment, and delivery efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, designing and implementing DevOps automation pipelines to support Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Automated Testing of our software products. This may include assisting in software development, integration and testing, release management, maintaining the development infrastructure and DevOps pipeline tools, and supporting the Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) as needed to ensure systems meet Corporate and customer security requirements. **Essential Functions:** + Implement and maintain DevOps/DevSecOps CI and CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, CMake, Sonar, Docker, and similar tools + Development of software tools to integrate and automate CI/CD pipelines + Support the DevOps/DevSecOps infrastructure on "bare metal", virtual, and containerized environments + Administration and maintenance of the applications and tools used to achieve the DevSecOps pipeline (e.g. Jenkins, Atlassian Stack, etc) + Support the software development staff with DevOps pipeline and process troubleshooting, problem solving, and training + Have strong team skills exceeding in collaboration, issue mediation and mitigation + Having excellent written (formal and informal documentation) and oral communications skill are required **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Engineering (CE), or similar field + At least 4 years of software development or DevOps experience preferably utilizing C++ or Java + Proficiency in using/configuring Jenkins, including writing pipeline execution scripts + Experience utilizing the Maven and CMake build systems + Experience implementing DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines with an emphasis on Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) + Proficiency using the git version control system + At least 2 years of experience working/operating in Linux software development environments + Strong communication skills (written and verbal) + Ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance **Preferred Additional Skills:** + Prior experience in DevOps/DevSecOps + One or more years of experience using container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes + Experience using static analysis tools + Groovy scripting experience + Linux system administration + Experience or familiarity with the Atlassian stack (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence, etc) + Experience with Linux/Windows virtual machine environments (VirtualBox, HyperV, VMWare) + Experience with networks and network applications and troubleshooting + Prior Department of Defense experience Please be aware many of our positions require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
