This individual will work to advance state of the art in Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, and advanced analytics to enchance DoD and IC information processes and technical architecturesEssential Job Responsibilities Performs systems engineering associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing Big Data analytic systems for MARS using an Agile DevSecOps model Collaborates with Government counterparts, Mission Owners, and analysts to identify requirements for MARS Big Data analytic systems Identifies and captures requirements, features, and user stories in JIRA (in collaboration with the Intelligence Analyst) Implements data policy enforcement across the architecture Identifies, defines, and documents internal and external interfaces Develops performance models to estimate, measure, and optimize performance using tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and CloudWatch Collaborates with the Training and Outreach team (Subtask 2.1) to update user training materials to incorporate new training requirements. Develops or provides technical input to engineering artifacts including Weekly Status Reports, System Design Documents, Test and Evaluation Master Plan, User Training Plans, Release Plans, Body of Evidence, and System Security Plan Updates. Minimum Qualifications 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in realted field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Demonstrable experience designing and developing system architectures, definition of system interfaces, and/or system implementation approaches and operational concepts, Demonstrable experience with requirement analysis, UML modeling (e.g. SPARX Enterprise Architect, Rational System Architect), AWS familiarity Security Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI to prior start. In addition must be able to obtain and maintain a post start CI Polygraph Preferred Requirements Basic understanding of an Object-Oriented Programming Language, preferably Java Experience with developing, deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting Cloud-based software solutions Experience with Chef, Ansible, or Terraform for automation and configuration Experience integrating Jenkins and Docker for automated CI/CD pipelines Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Huntington Ingalls Industries is an Equal Opportunity/Vets and Disabled Employer.
