SUMMARYAs a QA Software Engineer in Test Intern for the Dolby QA group, you will primarily focus on testing software that enables the next generation of Dolby technologies. You will help design, specify, craft and maintain the QA test environment as well as design, write and execute tests in Python using the pytest framework. RESPONSIBILITIES Intern responsibilities will focus 75% on testing and 25% on improving testing by writing automation scripts using python Intern will work with development and QA engineers to establish products and system test plans for software development kits Review technical documentation to ensure documented requirements as set forth by development team Utilize and adapt existing test automation tools such as Electric Flow to automate and schedule repetitive tasks, increase quality, and reliability for system testing Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug, and resolve issues/bugs ELIGIBILITY Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field Due to COVID-19, recent grads who are within 1 year of graduation are also eligible to apply Must be available to work remotely and full-time Monday Friday for 3 months between January 2021 -April 2021 Dolby will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of San Francisco Police Code, Article 49, and Administrative Code, Article 12 Equal Employment Opportunity:Dolby is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
