This role will be the primary point of contact and Subject Matter Specialist for the installation, support & operations of the Server Infrastructure and Hosting Facilities within the Global Hosting Service. The Hosting Facilities are located in Germany, Singapore and the USA, in addition extensive use is made of cloud services.

Demonstrating intimate abilities and or/proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:Establishing the Global Hosting Service (GHS) are always available and reliable, particularly the servers and facilities; Leading & training a globally dispersed operations team around the technology and processes to deliver; Acting as the Subject Matter Specialist for the installation, support & operations of the Server Infrastructure and Hosting Facilities within the Global Hosting Service; Working with third-party service providers to establish quality and consistent delivery of service to published SLAs; Working with other team leaders and managers in the Infrastructure Operations team to deliver a consistent and available service across the GHS; Deploying and operating servers within the GHS; Demonstrating responsibility for the consistent configuration and ongoing hardware and firmware support of all server related infrastructure; Monitoring Service Desk systems and responding to issues that have been escalated to the GHS that are server or facilities related; Maintaining compliance with Change Control Processes and adhering to standards and documentation; Developing & managing a life cycle for servers, both virtual and physical across the GHS; Demonstrating responsibility for collation of data and the distribution of daily and monthly operational reports; Being responsible for the backup and recovery of all systems within the GHS both on-premise and Cloud; Establishing that adequate capacity is available to meet projected demand while balancing cost against recovery, including data center capacity; Working with Asset and Configuration Management across the GHS; Working with other GHS Operations teams to establish that an IT Continuity plan is in place and tested annually; Working with project teams, Network Operations Engineers and the applications teams to implement new systems as required; Being responsible for the optimization and performance of the server related hardware infrastructure within GHC; Working with hardware vendors and other IaaS Teams to install technology hardware and infrastructure in the on-premise data centers; Being responsible for awareness and compliance with all aspects relating to policy and guidelines of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including but not limited to the Information Security Policy (ISP); Creating, adopting and staying compliant with all processes and procedures relating to server technology and facilities to maintain certifications such as SOC-2 and BSI 27001; Performing all related job functions following established processes and procedures in order to preserve the confidentiality of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co from unauthorized disclosure; Protecting the integrity of information hosted and managed by the PwC IT Service Co. from unauthorized or accidental modification, and protect the accuracy and completeness of this information; and, Being responsible for reporting any (known or suspected) breach in information security or policies.
