BearCom's headquarters and distribution center are in Dallas, TX and the company is currently partnered with the industry renowned Private Equity sponsor Bertram Funds out of San Mateo, California.As a Systems Engineer you will work directly with senior engineering to proactively identify and address all problems including, but not limited to PC issues, setup and configuration. Will also have to troubleshoot some server issues, website issues and network issues. Successful candidate will need knowledge of general PC Lab and Help Desk activities, desktop, laptop, software, network, systems, Exchange, and Citrix Xen.RESPONSIBILITIES Strong hardware support: General troubleshooting and setup of desktops, laptops, printers, handheld and other peripheral devicesStrong operating support experience including Microsoft Windows XP through Windows 10 and Appl OSXSoftware support: Microsoft Office, Citrix, RightFax and other custom software.Proficient in MS Office applicationsExperience supporting Microsoft Exchange /Active DirectorySolid interpersonal skills - Professional and personable, strong verbal and written communication skillsGood troubleshooting skills - software and hardwareSelf-motivated - start and follow-throughAbility to quickly learn, utilize and train others on unfamiliar softwareStrong focus on customer serviceQUALIFICATIONSPrefer 1 year of help desk experience with end user hardware, Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and active directoryExperience with set up and maintenance of PC's and laptopsWorking knowledge of Active DirectoryExperience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of Citrix Xen a plusCompTIA A+ and MCSE preferred.Background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle check.
