Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector in Azusa, CA needs qualified system engineer (Level 3) to support mission operations for on-orbit SBIRS payloads. Candidate will support payload state of health, payload command products, and operations support of an operational payload constellation. As well as update products and algorithms to support script level automation of the Automated Response Matrix (ARM) for GNOME. Secondary assignments are in areas such as launch rehearsal planning and execution, system test planning and execution, design and development of analysis tools, and generation of system databases. Interest in Telemetry Tracking & Commanding of space hardware is required, ability to troubleshoot script/algorithm errors preferred, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensurate with performance or due to business needs. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & 5 years of engineering experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field & 3 years of engineering experience Experience working with MATLAB Active & current DoD secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher specifically in aerospace or electrical engineering
