Let's make animpact together.Perspecta has an immediate need for a PMO Lead in the Chantilly, VA area.Responsible forall aspects of project development and implementation from original inceptionto final completion. Serves as a single point of contact. Interfaces with allparties involved in the project including developers, administrators, engineersand customers. Gathers customers requirements and establish project scope andobjectives. Prepares detailed schedules, project estimates, and status reports.Allocates resources to facilitate the successful completion of projects.Coordinates and conducts meetings and is responsible for project tracking andanalysis. Reviews deliverables and ensures adherence to quality standards.Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and evaluates vendor deliverables.Provides recommendations and takes action to resolve any management relatedissues. Reports toProgram Manager. Responsible for PMO operations including reporting,planning, risk management and quality management.QualificationsEducation and Experience Required:High SchoolDiploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or Associates Degree plus 10years relevant experience, or Bachelor's Degree with 8 years relevantexperience, or Master's Degree with 6 years relevant experience, or PHD with 4years relevant experience.Must have a Secret Security clearanceKnowledge and Skills Required:Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key company services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniquesRecognized as a leader in the company services Program Manager (PM) Professions communityProject Management Professional (PMP) CertifiedDirects multiple teams through to project completion. Provides guidance and direction to lower level technicians, specialists, and managers.Responsible for all aspects of project development and implementationfrom original inception to final completion.ExceptionallyComplex - researches and evaluates new concepts and processes to improveperformance. Analyzes cross-functional problem sets, identifies root causes andresolves issues. Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, andmanagers in their activities.
