End User Computing Integration Architect
Location:: Santa Clara, CA/ Remote
Duration:: 6 12 months
Description:
You will be part of a highly skilled team comprised of intelligent, hard-working IT professionals delivering IT productivity and solution services required for the End User Computing (desktop, mobile, security and VDI) area. We are seeking, candidates with strong analytical and communication skills that have a can-do attitude and use their innovation, creativity, technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver robust solutions and a great user experience. The ability to exceed user expectations and work well within a team are crucial to this position.
Duties
Coordinate and execute the activities required to integrate desktop & mobile systems and infrastructures of acquired companies into our environment
Partner closely with GIS teams and other leads to deliver the integration and decommissioning of acquired systems in compliance with company security, compliance and operational demands
Create, execute, and communicate integration project plans, daily-to-day tasks, and risk assessments for the end user computing environment and lead weekly review meetings
Assist in developing an IT integration playbook model for the end user computing environment to establish repeatable standards and streamline future desktop infrastructure integrations
Support and facilitate the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity assessment activities
Identify integration gaps, challenges, and risks concerning EUC infrastructure and security
Ensure effective communications to all stakeholders throughout the project
Delivers innovative solutions, provides support for corporate endpoints and L1/L2 support teams in the field during transitions
Design and implement end user data management strategies to ensure positive user transition experience while maintaining data security requirements
Actively contributes to delivering a world class end user computing experience
Continually develops skills and abilities to keep current on new technology and practices
Required Skills
Strong IT technical project management and business analysis (discovery, scoping, planning, etc)
Extensive experience & skills executing enterprise desktop infrastructure M&A integrations
Strong ability to lead technical & project reviews with stakeholders
Advanced skills architecting engineering (L4) desktop/server solutions in a global environment
Expert knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows productivity tools
Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, software packaging tools & qualification processes, and scripting languages (VBScript/PowerShell)
Ability to create solutions and processes with a great user experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
Practical experience with desktop virtualization technologies
Technologies & skills: Microsoft Windows 10/Server, Microsoft SCCM and Intune, Azure Active Directory, PowerShell, understanding of Active Directory domain services & trust models, application testing methodologies, endpoint network, cloud Desktop as a Service (DaaS), Citrix/VMware virtualization platforms, endpoint security (vulnerability assessment/management, anti-virus/EDR, etc), and infrastructure migration/integration processes
