NVIDIA is hiring Senior Software Engineers to develop models, workflows, tools and infrastructure to deliver end-end tool chain for validation and verification of autonomous vehicles to ISO26262 and ISO21448.This role is to build and define scenario and evaluation models used in model based testing and to develop the workflow to successfully use the tool for a large scale validation of vehicle fleets ranging from SL2 to L4 as part of NVIDIA's simulation development team.What you'll be doing:* Help us improve the workflow needed to validate an autonomous vehicle stack on the DRIVE Constellation platform.* Characterize and model test systems in the operational driving domain using Python-based tools which you will co-develop.* Models will be written with a combination of procedural, declarative and AI methods.What we need to see:* MS or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience* 3+ years of relevant industry software engineering experience* We are looking for background in both model-based design as well as end-to-end verification and validation for complex engineered safety-critical systems* Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, as we work as a tightly-knit team, always discussing and learning from each otherWays to stand out from the crowd:* Experience in automotive systems, in particular ADAS or self-driving, or similar real-time safety-critical systems in other domains.* Experience in developing or using autonomous vehicle simulators and their workflows, especially model-based development and testing workflows.* Experience specifying, developing, or working to Automotive Standards ISO26262, ISO21448, OpenSCENARIO 2.0* Self-starter who has confirmed experience developing and shipping real-time software systemsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers with some of the most forward-thinking, talented, and hardworking people in the world working here.
