Explore your future and launch your career today.Northrop Grumman Space Sector is currently seeking a Digital Engineering and DevSecOps Manager 2 to join our Systems Engineering team on the NGI (Next Generation Interceptor) Program within Launch Vehicles business unit at the Chandler, AZ facilityThis position is contingent upon contract award anticipated in the December 2020/January 2021 timeframe.Job Qualifications:* The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.* Lead a technically diverse engineering team responsible for planning, organizing, developing and managing the engineering processes that govern system development* Lead the implementation of digital toolkits, develop agile strategies and model-based applications* Lead the overall strategy and implementation of the digital transformation initiatives for effective program execution and greater affordability* Lead the strategy and execution of DevSecOps implementation under agile processes including support at scrum meetings, technical backlog reviews and program release planning* Able to present and clearly communicate technical details at customer engagements* Be responsible for designing, maintaining, executing and updating the DevSecOps software pipelines and software factory that is utilized across all software teams* Be responsible for identifying and mitigating defects related to the DevSecOps environment via root cause analysis and solution development across the NGI teams* Define, Monitor and Lead software implementation procedures to include static code analysis, unit-level testing and documentation in support of NGI software development* Develop, monitor and support the NGI Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipeline and utilize all tools to support software development* Develop, monitor and support the NGI CI/CD pipeline to ensure automation of CDRL deliveries to the fullest extent possible* Integrate complex systems that facilitate continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, continuous deployment* Manage and support the development and maintenance of the NGI Infrastructure Lead to ensure the Secure Network provides highly available connectivity to all sites, labs* Manage and Support the NGI Labs and Assets Lead to coordinate release planning of software development into development and release labs through seamless CI/CD automation* Help drive the culture change to unleash the capabilities of a fully digital enterprise* Emphasize development of processes around modern model-based methods and practices in support of a full digital engineering transformation* Provide coaching, technical direction, and facilitation of the implementation of a fully automated DevSecOps pipeline* Provide highly innovative solutions to unusually complex technical problems* Utilize analytical problem solving skills and strategic thinking abilities to resolve business issuesBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience; 8 Years with Masters; 6 Years with PhD.* Experience leading projects or teams* Experience with Agile SAFe* Must be a US Citizen.* Ability to obtain a secret security clearance* Ability to travel is required* Strong written and verbal communications skills* Understands the interactions among the various engineering disciplines, roles and responsibilities on complex DoD programs* Demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership of tasks and accountability* Skilled at solving unique problems and making sound engineering decisions* Detailed and team oriented with demonstrated leadership and organization skillsPreferred Qualifications:* Experience with the full Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, JIRA, GIT, Crowd)* Ability to automate software builds and releases via Jenkins & Nexus* Experience with automation/configuration management* Experience with developing formal builds within the DoD industry* Have a solid understanding of Agile software development principles and lessons learned* Have a solid understanding of software tools, automated software development environments, and digital environment operating systems and assets* Familiarity with MBE, MBSE, MDAO and other systems analysis methods and tools* Familiarity with operational or mission analysis methodologies* Active Secret Security Clearance preferredNorthrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
