This Naval Forces Logistics Program Manager will lead a dynamic team, providing logistics support services to assist USFFC and subordinate commands in achieving their goals and objectives for Naval Forces Logistics. Responsible for providing and performance objectives to be met in support of NOF which includes Navy and Marine Corps Shore, Shipboard and Expeditionary support staffs and subordinate units. You will possess and apply a detailed knowledge of Naval logistics programs and AISs including Navy and DoD Retail Supply, Wholesale Supply, Naval Aviation, Naval Maritime and Naval Expeditionary Maintenance while supporting NOF at our Virginia Beach, Virginia location. The PM performs overall administration and management of all contract activities. The Program Manager shall have a working knowledge of Navy logistics, AISs, business processes, processing modules, segments and management reports.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active Secret Clearance
  • A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline.
  • A minimum of six years of Program Management experience. Program Management experience is defined as supervision of work effort where a minimum of two levels of subordinate supervisors report to that individual.
  • A combination of four years of Navy logistics and AIS operations experience, and senior level management experience of a highly technical work force.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer total program activities and provide principle support for all program administration, financials and
  • Ensure efficient, timely and complete management oversight, administration of all tasking, deliverables, contract requirements, contractor and subcontractor performance and
  • Function as the single point of contact (POC) to the Government for all contractor-to- contractor teaming work arrangements and execution under this
  • Provide direct, recurring interface with the contracting officer s representative (COR), alternate COR (ACOR), and the command/training site technical assistant (TA).
  • Provide government required contract fiscal management reporting
  • Provide government required contract operational and technical
  • Manage contract travel and other direct costs (ODC).
  • Manage subcontractor time and expenses.
  • Establish project team roles and
  • Review, update and coordinate project status with project
  • Manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Manage project details ensure timely validation and approval of
  • Act as point of control for coordination, communication and follow-up for project milestones and
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to stakeholders throughout the project/deliverable lifecycle.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risk and devise contingency
  • Manage project team leads and contractors; provide risk management and issue/problem
