You'll be responsible for delivering on the technical agenda, driving the strategic direction along with the product owner, and leading the career development for several developers. Your work will include a variety of tasks including:* Crafting and delivering on a long-term technical vision while ensuring business needs are fulfilled with a high degree of data quality* Partnering with our product owner to understand user needs and architect solutions which deliver value* Collaborating with the developer team to split large, complex tasks into small stories aligning with agile principles* Engaging with partner business analyst, data scientist, and engineering teams to understand the use case, data environment, and key technology* Cultivating the skill sets and providing career direction for several direct reportsThe Ideal Candidate is:* Familiar with managing and ensuring the data integrity of large and complex databases containing millions to billions of records* Proficient with Python* Deeply understands the value of teamwork on modern technology teams* Experienced with people managementBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree* At least 4 years of professional data analysis work experience* At least 4 years of programming experience* At least 1 year of experience in people managementPreferred Qualifications:* Master's Degree* At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience* At least 1 years of project management experience* At least 1 year of experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL* At least 1 years of experience in Tableau* Proficient utilizing and developing within AWS serviceCapital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.
