Description: Fleet Common Operating Environment (FCOE) Overview:The Fleet Common Operating Environment (FCOE) is a collaborative effort between Lockheed Martin and NAVAIR focused on the establishment and operation of a fleet analytics center to support the CH-53 E and K aircraft fleets. The FCOE applies Sikorsky-developed technology, analytical processes and OEM expertise to Marine Corps. CH-53 aircraft data in order to identify opportunities to increase aircraft readiness, reduce operational cost and facilitate a strategic business shift to condition-based maintenance. Data generated from the aircrafts health usage and monitoring system (HUMS), aircraft operations, and aircraft maintenance is collected, conditioned and analyzed to proactively develop recommendations for such improvements.Responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results. Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis. They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems.Mine, process, and summarize data; Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolutions; Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards; Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; Produce and track key performance indicators; Ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems; Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and scheduleBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years+ of professional experience;Spreadsheet tools, e.g., MS ExcelCommunication and data visualization proficiencyDescriptive statistics and exploratory data analysisStatistical programming and data processing skillsKnowledge of the data, tables, fields, and sourcesAbility to define technical solutions against business opportunitiesLanguages: Python, SQLBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
