Position Summary
The HR Systems Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the HR systems (HRIS, Timekeeping, and Payroll). Identify areas of opportunity and partner with teams at our parent Company when necessary to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and workflow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and to improve data management and efficiency. This position will also lead system implementation projects and/or upgrades to new and/or existing systems ensuring system construction to PCTA needs, proper system access and reporting capabilities for HR and Payroll teams. The Human Resources Systems Specialist will develop training and SOPs ensuring standardization and data integrity. Additionally, their responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to address problem areas within the systems while partnering with TTEC on approved implementation efficiencies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plays a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR systems (HRIS, Timekeeping, and Payroll) partnering with parent company in these areas to ensure improved efficiencies, functionality and workflow while maximizing technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and improve data management. Participates in system testing relative to patches, fixes, upgrades/conversions or new module implementations.
Leads system implementation and/or programming projects to new or existing systems for global locations ensuring construction to Percepta needs and HR policy adherence while ensuring proper system access and reporting capabilities for HR and Payroll teams.
Reviews and recommends changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS and Timekeeping systems and takes the lead as a project manger to implement these changes with IT and parent company.
Develops training, standard operating procedures, and monthly data audits for our global locations ensuring standardization and data integrity. Assists with training of mangers and end users on applications within the HR systems.
Coordinates and ensures compliance of SOX requirements for HR and Payroll. Leads all organizational compliance audits relative to HR systems with parent company ensuring timely responses.
Reviews and conducts regularly scheduled audits of HR data ensuring that information provided on various HR data forms is consistent with TA and HRIS standards to ensure data integrity. Communicate with and educate the TA and HR teams on needed changes/adjustments.
Understands and translates components of employment laws and organizational policies into system solutions globally.
Support reporting, HRIS, and payroll functions as needed.
Perform other work-related duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Education
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
Experience
5 or more years of HR Systems experience, HR processes, and project management experience
Experience with Oracle and Kronos is a plus
Skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills including use of analytical and data manipulation skills in Excel
Organizational skills and flexibility for changing priorities ensuring a strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Complex problem-solving skills identification, analysis, evaluation of options, and implementation
Critical Thinking skills using logic and reasoning to identify strengthens and weakness
Proven ability to build relationships and work in a team as well as an independent environment with various levels in the organization
Strong discretion in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information.
Familiar with project management principles
