SAP Procurement Analyst SAP-Administrative Systems Management Job Description Occupational Summary Analyst, IT SR Initial-term (2 years): Serve as a member of the project team supporting Dukes migration to SAP S/4 Procurement and Accounts Payable Long-term: Serve as a member of the Administrative Systems Management (ASM) team supporting the SAP Procurement, Supply Chain and Accounts Payable functions and modules for Duke University and Duke University Health System. Duties Short-term: Serve as an S/4 Procurement project team member.Project team member duties include requirements analysis, business process analysis, project documentation, and performing unit and integration testingServe as the configuration resource for selected procurement, supply chain and accounts payable modules of SAP S/4 Procurement. Long-term: Serve as the lead resource for various new SAP procurement, supply chain or accounts payable projects for the University and Health System.Duties include project management, requirements analysis, design specification development, SAP system configuration, testing and implementation.Project management duties include leading meetings, developing project plans, leading design and business process change efforts, identifying security requirements, developing test plans, and overall team coordination.Provide production support for SAP procurement and accounts payable modules including testing support and enhancement packs, designing minor enhancements to SAP procurement modules, supporting key constituencies, and resolving system problems.Serve as the expert configuration resource for selected procurement or accounts payable modules of SAP S/4. Modules to support are to be determined.Support procurement reporting and analytics including using SAP embedded analytics, use of SAP BW/4 Hana and other analytical tools.Perform job duties both in a Duke office setting and remotely.Perform other duties and special projects related to the duties described above and at the direction of the Associate Vice President.Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Experience A minimum of three years of experience in consulting, business operations or financial management required, preferably in higher education or health care.Experience configuring and implementing components of SAP (or similar non -SAP ERP systems) is required. Direct experience implementing and supporting SAP S/4 Procurement or Accounts Payable is strongly preferred.Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments, ability to work with a broad range of administrative, technical, and functional staff, and a broad understanding of University and Health System administration and operations are required.
