Salary: $110,000 - $150,000

Our client has been in business for over 20 years and is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. In this role you will provide project management expertise for projects. Work with assigned staff to oversee all aspects of project services per the client s contract. Lead the project team to success by completing projects on schedule, within budget, and ensuring client and staff satisfaction.

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Registered Professional Engineer is required
Project Management experience is required
Relevant transportation construction inspection experience is preferred

Job Details

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manage projects to plan, synchronize and assign work based on individual project timelines and priorities.
Daily audit project records to ensure quality.
Prepare project invoices and progress reports within requested time.
Establish new relationships/partnerships and new business/clients to support future work for the Division.
Serve as PM or task lead on pursuits as requested
Assist in RFP responses as requested
Assist in updating monthly operational reports.
Prepare project scope, fee, and schedule as assigned.
Monitor project budgets and schedules, and be proactive in identifying challenges to be mitigated.
Maintain support for construction field personnel and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during the course of a transportation construction project, involving regular travel to the project sites for hands-on support efforts.
Source, interview, and hire construction inspectors/staff as required. Assume other duties as directed by the Department Lead.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Project Engineers, Engineers in Training, and Inspectors as assigned and responsible for overseeing their performance.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Registered Professional Engineer is required
Project Management experience is required
Relevant transportation construction inspection experience is preferred
Relevant technology/software experience
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
