MELE Associates, Inc. is looking for a seasoned and self-motivated Senior Project Analyst to fill a position supporting the nations nuclear deterrence mission within the Office of Defense Programs. The contractor will provide expertise on a major weapon acquisition program located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Washington, D.C. This full-time position is contingent upon contract award.
The Senior Project Analyst will provide subject matter expertise to the Federal program manager and engineering personnel located within the national security laboratories and nuclear weapon production facilities. The contractor should have tailored expertise in project scheduling and will provide programmatic liaison support to personnel managing the technical work and processes. Prior engagement with Federal and or/Defense agencies preferred.
Essential functions may include:
Running in-depth analyses and reports including critical path analyses, earned value reporting, program schedule milestones, program event reports, monthly value management performance status metrics, schedule comparison analysis, baseline variance analysis, schedule forecast variance analysis, and schedule validity analysis and scrubbing.
Recommending development improvements and subsequent revisions of an integrated, resource loaded schedule for a multi-billion dollar project.
Both internal and external presentations to teammates, company representatives, customer community, and integrated product team on government program reviews including integrated baseline reviews, monthly contract management reviews, weekly schedule status reviews, and monthly schedule reviews.
Application of advanced scheduling methodologies, practices, knowledge, skills, and abilities in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Integration with earned value management system.
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
8-10 years of related experience in engineering or project scheduling on a federal level.
Current DOE Q or DOD Top Secret Clearance.
Excellent communication skills, orally and in writing.
Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project and Earned Value Management Systems.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Experienced in scheduling large, multi-organizational integrated resource loaded schedules.
Prior experience in weapon systems engineering; requirements management, risk management and configuration management of large projects; and integrating work of multiple contractors.
Masters Degree in Engineering or related field.
Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
