Cloud Engineering is a lean group charged with scaling Tableau Online and how we operate it to meet this demand. As Software Engineering SMTS/LMTS (Senior/Lead Member of Technical Staff) of the Critical Infrastructure Team, you will make sure the critical infrastructure systems (file server, database, load balancer, etc.) are well-protected with high availability and robust disaster recovery, which includes a well-defined RPO and RTO strategy, and a comprehensive playbook that covers all scenarios. The strategy should encompass reliable and easy-to-understand procedures that are well-tested and automated.
