Job Summary

The Corp Solutions Architect - Cloud will provide customer-facing services to our customers to help them define and oversee cloud based initiatives. The Corp Solutions Architect is responsible for helping strategize, architect and implement various solutions that support SHI customer's move to the Public Cloud. The Corp Solutions Architect will design and implement enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing, analyzing system requirements and ensuring that systems are securely integrated with current applications.This position will report to the Corp Cloud Services Manager in the Corp Service Sales department.

  • Design and implement Cloud solutions and related technologies including but not limited to, Network Design, Security Architecture, Governance Best Practices and Connectivity
  • Perform design and implementation work that may include logical design, I/O design, cloud architecture analysis and design, system migration and systems engineering
  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the project
  • Develop technical roadmaps for future cloud implementations on Public Cloud platforms
  • Plan, manage, and troubleshoot Cloud services deployment
  • Perform PowerShell, python and bash scripting for automation, documentation and standardization
  • Develop business case analysis on potential project
  • Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
  • Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations


  • Minimum 2 - 10 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field Deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape Thorough understanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security etc.) and have experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution Cloud Certifications (Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certifications) Experience migrating workloads to the Public Cloud or managing workloads in the Public Cloud
