(TCP review board required in TCP families)Responsibilities:* Manages customer project delivery.* Revenue as detailed in Impact section.* Very large/ complex/ multiple regions or global.* High/ very high risk.* High/very high complexity legal and commercial issues.* Manages project financials including P&L.* Meets or exceeds SOAR approved budgets.* Provides reliable financial forecasts to HPS management.* Manages business development Identifies and develops new opportunities with client Supports early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities Acts as opportunity manager for high risk deals.* Manages client relationships.* Manages complex multi-function and/ or global delivery relationships with senior and executive ("C" level) client management.* Communicates the direct value our capabilities will provide to our business partners and customers.* Manages project team.* Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size greater than 40 people.* Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members through others.* Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for key contributors.* Mentors others, providing a role model and support for individual development.Education and Experience Required:* First level university degree.* Advanced degree preferred.* 10 years experience in project management or in like roles/businesses.Knowledge and Skills:* Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key HP Services' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.* Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques.* Recognized as a leader in the HP S PM Professions community.* PMP Certified.Global Program Account Manager (GPAM): HP will assign a GPAM as the Customer's primary point of contact dedicated to supporting Amazon's solution needs and who will align with the existing HP operational and product resources dedicated to Amazon. (Globally)The GPAM will understand Customer's market position and corporate objectives to propose relevant solutions that address required customer outcomes and actively engage in formulating (proactively improve and manage) the global end to end governance model for effective solution delivery to Amazon. The GPAM will provide relevant operational consultation and recommendations to assist Customer in maintaining and enhancing the benefits of their HP solutions including operational and internal challenges/processes.The GPAM will manage, collaborate, and secure HP resources to support key objectives surrounding HP-delivered hardware support and value-added solutions which can include, but are not limited to, staging, inventory management, deployment and consultative solutions, whether purchased transactionally or contractually from HP. (purchased direct or indirect)HP will:* Provide a Global governance framework to programmatically oversee HP's operations across all Amazon operating locations and entities in which Amazon conducts HP-related business;* Implement a repeatable, best-practice communication methodology, within the Global governance framework, which includes identification of Amazon and HP stakeholders, formulation of a communication cadence that is relevant to stakeholders, and deliver communiques in agreed-upon formats that are meaningful to the needs of local, regional, global recipients;* Provide a single point of contact for reporting and escalating issues and performance across multiple in-scope counties and establish a multi-country reporting format and plan against performance metrics activities for multi-country engagement;* Establish a cadence of meetings to receive reporting information from each in scope country to populate a global view, including management of accounts receivable monthly reporting and issues;* Serve as an operational champion within HP representing Amazon's needs by:oEnsuring GPAM is knowledgeable of HP global supply chain with ability to focus on operational excellence including ability to assess and correct any inefficiencies that may jeopardize process consistency;oOverseeing existing solutions and specialized deliverables that HP is providing, and which are vital to Amazon's competitive edge, such as inventory management, and ensure operational implementation commitments are met;* Drive key initiatives, such as:oThe B2B portal set-up effort to maximize ease and accuracy of order-placement including oversight of product transition updates which may require test units, new-image set-up, customer-approval and activation of new or updated SKUs with accurate descriptions that are meaningful to Amazon users;oThe Self-service capability to enable Amazon to query stock-levels of specific products and compute total price including creation of email templates that communicate products and available stock-levels with flexibility to make changes as needed;* Serve as a point of escalation to Amazon and internal HP stakeholders; seek out creative solutions and drive resolution of escalated issues through root-cause and trend analysis;* Align with the Amazon's vision and corporate objectives (strategic business plan), utilize knowledge of HP hardware, third-party (3PO) and service roadmaps to recommend best practice solutions, with estimates of ROI;* Coordinate and present to Customer new service-related enhancement projects or Services to meet Customer's anticipated IT, distribution, technology needs;* Lead Strategic Business Reviews with Amazon's designated representative(s) to discuss HP analysis and findings regarding account performance, spanning cost of ownership, operational initiatives and impact on service level objectives, addressing key stakeholder issues raised and usage trends;* Monitor the HP-tracked service levels and report on a quarterly basis and during applicable Business Reviews, in an HP defined format. Identify corrective actions, if required, and manage such through to resolution. Drive service level objective (SLO) optimization Services, thereby assessing if the agreed service levels specifically address Customer business needs and make recommendations for SLO refinement, if appropriate;* Adopt usage of key features in Microsoft Excel such as use of formulas and pivot tables, and other data analysis tools, including ability to communicate and concisely present compelling data;* Manage or supervise the change management processes.
