DescriptionThe Project Manager Technology Implementation delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The Senior Technology Implementation Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager Technology Implementation gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Begins to influence departments strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Role and ResponsibilitiesManage medium to large scope projects within programs and standalone projectsUtilize Project Management framework, adhering to standard tools, process and methodologyCollaborate with business owners on the identification and assignment of business resourcesCreate and manage budgets, timelines (milestones) and task schedulesExecute the project through all phases of the project lifecycleMaintain strategic alignment of assigned projects by analyzing charters and reviewing expectations with all impacted stakeholdersLead the planning process to create the Project Charter, including collaborating with Scrum Masters for all impacted Agile teams, understanding their sprint plans, and creating an integrated Work PlanLead the requirements gathering and analysis process, capturing business and technical needs in Agile epics and user storiesManage all assigned internal and external resources, task planning and progress reporting during the project including internal IT, Business, vendors, contractors, and consultantsConduct project team meetings to establish and execute on detailed project plansEnsure project milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of the project lifecycleProduce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notifications on assigned projectsAccurately track and report project status against plan to all stakeholders at all levelsIdentify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholdersIdentify, log, assign, and resolve or escalate project issues, hindrances, and blockers using company best practicesIncorporate effective scope/change management impact assessment and controlsPerform other duties as requestedCross Functional InteractionsInteract with various business owners throughout the organizationInteract with external agencies/personnelRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experienceKnowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development MethodologiesExperience in IT business analysis, including artifacts developmentExperience problem solving and consultation within complex environmentsFacilitating cross-functional teams' effortsMust be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiencesPreferred QualificationsMaster's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related fieldScheduled Weekly Hours40About UsMission: At Humana, our cultural foundation is aligned to helping members achieve their best health by delivering personalized, simplified, whole-person healthcare experiences.
