OIT is seeking a developeradministrator with Drupal expertise to maintain our enterprise Content Management System platform. We are looking for a developer with full-stack development capabilities, responsible for both front-end and back-endmodule development. A successful candidate will have a complete understanding of web development processes and industry-leading trends not only to build complex sites but also to provide assistanceguidance in the distributed development of sites throughout our collegiate and departmental units. Additionally, they will be experienced in responsive and accessible design, as well as, developing and maintaining e-commerce sites (including PCI) within Drupal or other content management system platforms. Free disability insurance. Annual merit increase program. Job Responsibilities Lead development efforts, serving as the subject matter expert from analysis to implementation. Review system requirements, design, and business processes to ensure alignment with IT and business strategies. Collaborate closely with teams and manage through the development lifecycle to conduct a full range of programming activities including design, code, test, review, debug, document, and enhance existing components to ensure that the software meets business needs. Mentor team members and participate in code reviews. Understand and communicate functional design requirements, translating into technical details relevant to Drupal andor related technologies. Lead the selection and evaluation of Drupal modules. Perform ongoing maintenance and patching of applications and systems, identifying opportunities to fine-tune, optimize and recommend technical solutions. Resolve functional and technical issues, acting as an escalation point for complex issues as they arise. Stay on top of emerging technologiesindustry trends and apply them into operations and activities. Create and maintain documented processes and technical implementations. Please document qualifications on resume. Required Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree and 4 years of related experience or a comparable combination of education, experience, andor training. Experience designing and developing dynamic Drupal site implementations, with an understanding of Drupalrsquos code structure, module architecture and theming component. PHP coding knowledge and experience utilizing standard coding techniques. Proficient with HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript and jQuery. Commitment to andor experience in working with a diverse team or environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating with external systems using internal or third-party APIs. Experience with code versioning tools, particularly Git and Git-based workflow (i.e. branching, merging, etc). Experience developing custom modules in Drupal.
