Thank you so much for your interest in this unique Corporate Systems IT PM role to provide leadership in driving the technology strategy and agenda in support of the Global Risk and Security (GR&S) division.RequirementsIn this role you will:* Help stand up a GR&S data infrastructure team* Lead the implementation of a GR&S division wide data lake strategy to focus on Enterprise Risk data ingestion and integration into the data lake, which* Enables CROs and their partners with a robust, holistic view of the risk portfolio to make risk smart decisions* Supports existing and emerging use cases* Improves efficiencies for GR&S data and analytics resources* Serve as IT product owner for the Vanguard Emergency Notification System* Develop and evolve IT strategies in support of GR&S needs* Influence and persuade Corporate Systems senior leadership and GR&S business on key technical direction and decisions and innovation opportunitiesQualifications* Minimum of five years related work experience. Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services and technical experience preferred.* Undergraduate degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering) required. Graduate degree preferred.What it takes:* Experience and working knowledge in data analytics (data engineering and architecture), AWS, and DevOps* Solid IT project management background with strong agile delivery and methodology (Scrum/Kanban/Lean) experience* Strong track record in delivering exceptional outcomes with a high degree of autonomy* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills* Strong ability in leading different perspectives, resolving conflicts, building and maintaining relationships, influencing and persuading, managing ambiguity and changes* Ability to conceptualize and strategize solutions to large scale, complex technology opportunities* Ability to work across a broad range of technology opportunities and learn new concepts quickly* Enthusiasm to understand and apply emerging architecture and technology conceptsCore Responsibilities* Manages technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program. Develops, implements, and monitors project plans. Contributes expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.* Provides insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Serves as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.* Communicates project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.* Builds and maintains effective relationships. Proactively fosters communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.* Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects.
