Position Summary: Summary: Support IT disaster recovery activities pertaining to requirements, design, implementation, and administration of application product and services. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for Enterprise Disaster Recovery procedures and documentation adhering to Standards/Procedures related to Disaster Recovery that complement the Corporate Business Continuity Policies Utilize IT risk assessment and Business Impact Analysis to support functional requirements for IT Business Continuity Planning and determine gaps and existing IT risks to the enterprise Maintain standard templates for technical recovery, application recovery and data center recovery plans Provide enterprise architecture reviews and recommendations on disaster recovery design to ensure IT solutions can meet the business recovery objectives Document recovery plans, perform tabletop DR Exercises and perform DR failover exercises Administer Disaster Recovery exercises as developed and approved by IT development partners Develop and follow through to mitigate disaster recovery exercise errors discovered during exercise execution Apply high-level understanding of the organization's business systems and industry requirements. Develop and define system service-level objectives through research and fact-finding Prepare charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations for solutions Provide recommendations for enhancements and changes that involve custom design, optional, and third party products to improve IT systems efficiency and effectiveness Assist in the design, development, and implementation of test production objects, as well as in projects that will implement and/or enhance existing systems and applications Develop detailed support documentation for operational run books Document related HW, SW and connectivity problems, including user access and component configuration, document system problems and resolutions for future reference Prepare detailed flow charts, diagrams and other architectural documentation outlining system capabilities and processes, record and maintain HW and SW inventories, component licensing and user access and security Perform configuration, change management, and testing activities Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Requirements: Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience Experience: 2-4 years Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts and theories of own discipline and some knowledge of principles and concepts in other functions. Understands appropriate procedures, policies, practices, systems and regulations. Demonstrates business and organizational acumen of disciplines and client function. Recognized for technical/ functional expertise.
