As Senior Manager, Product Management for the Digital Customer Experience team you will lead and manage a team of Product Managers who support the individual teams and projects within your program. You will leverage your prior experience and thought leadership to define and lead the growth of the Product Management team.ResponsibilitiesCollaboratively define and drive product roadmaps to align with established vision and strategy Work with the team to drive product definition, design and prototyping processes to discover customer problems and create valuable, desirable and feasible solutionsDefine and prioritize an outcome-centric roadmap that continuously delivers measurable value towards the vision.Drive product success by developing milestones and holding leads and teams accountable for deliverables Provide expert and actionable guidance and develop best practice to deliver against the vision set for each product specialty areaManage the expectations, demands and priorities of multiple internal stakeholdersProactively identify potential issues and inefficiencies that need to be quickly resolved; ensuring that all active product programs are tracked with clear, concise and precise statusCoach and mentor team while helping innovate and iterate on agile PM processes and share our insightsWork at a program level with technical leads, designers, and people managers to determine what to work on next and how to prepare for future work.Bring clarity where there is uncertainty, manage risk and continuously deliver valueDefine experiments, measure success metrics and use data to inform decisionsDesired Skills & Experience:Minimum of 8 years Product Management experienceSuccess in managing teams of product managers or engineersExposure navigating large enterprise organizations with an understanding of IT partnershipsAbility to breakdown complex problems into simple solutions focused on important customer needsStrong leadership and communication skills and the ability to teach othersAbility to influence and work collaboratively with people in all roles/teams with a keen ability to adapt to fast-changing nature of SaaS market, and can pivot and learn quicklyStrong analytics, with a data-driven approach to decision making that accelerates the learning process to validate solutionsExperience with User-Centered Design methodologiesAbility to proactively identify risks, issues and drive their resolutionProven experience delivering software using agile, having delivered SaaS a plusBA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience : Marketing: Product Management: Business Leadership/: Full Time: Yes: 2020-11-05VMware Company Overview: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
