As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will be responsible for the design innovation, implementation, and development of next generation DRAM products. You will work in a coordinated structure combining both Product and Design engineering subject areas. The team will execute to a common goal of ensuring our future roadmap is successful. You will apply your deep understanding and history of circuit design to drive DRAM memory design optimization and innovations that target an outstanding performance, power, and area. Responsibilities and Tasks include the following, but not limited to: Define and develop the overall design architecture, layout, and optimization of memory circuitsDesign and development of schematic blocks such as memory array, control logic, address decode, datapath, and internal test logic.Understand the impact of design architecture decisions on overall power, speed, and die sizeIdentify opportunities to drive competitive advantages into our solutions by developing groundbreaking ideas and concepts.Collaborate with Process Technology team to optimize design rules for cost, performance and functionalityBuild solutions and define requirements for circuit operation with focus on DFM, DFT, and outstanding quality.Define strategies to support development of new technology and architecture through test chip definition and silicon validationQualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field of technology15+ years of relevant proven experienceProven track record and portfolio of innovation in custom ASIC, DRAM, and/or NAND design is requiredAdvanced analog circuit design, digital design and verification/validation experienceStrong interpersonal skills with ability to convey sophisticated technical concepts to peers and management.Experience with semiconductor MFG process flows and Design-Technology Co-OptimizationStrong understanding of memory architectures, circuits, & functions is a significant plus About Micron Technology, Inc.
