Jacobs is seeking a IT Communications and CIO Support Analyst, Mid level in Alexandria, VA. Looking for a candidate who is a self-starter, able to organize, prioritize and manage competing priorities, multi-task, and continue to meet all deadlines, while remaining flexible with changing priorities. The candidate should have the ability to leverage functional knowledge of project management, strategic planning and communications. Requirements include: Candidate must have the following general Management Consulting experience: * Experience working directly with senior executives in supporting their dynamic strategic and operational objectives including converting ambiguous ideas into tangible action plans and deliverables * Flexible self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects, competing deadlines, and tasks effectively and simultaneously with follow-up to completion, as necessary * Experience with Change Management, Project Management, and executive communications development and management Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities IT Communications Support: * Serve as lead communications point of contact for multiple projects within the Division of Information Systems (DIS) * Strong interpersonal skills to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders who may include program teams, Office of Information Resource Management (OIRM) staff, customer support staff, IT customers, NSF grantees; maintain positive relationships with all Federal Project Managers and other internal stakeholders involved in daily project activities * Draft communications and outreach materials for projects within DIS including communications plans, emails, web content, posters/fliers, system announcements, newsletter articles, presentations, training documents, and system help documentation * Ability to manage competing priorities and objectives to manage and obtain necessary review approvals from DIS Senior Leadership * Ability to prioritize activities and work products to meet customer objectives and demands, including creating and managing crisis communications * Report on all activities to the IT Communications Project Manager * You must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. * 6 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree is required. Commensurate experience for education. * Strategic IT communications and outreach experience * Demonstrate strong writing, editing, presentation, creative and promotional skills * Demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills * Experience with Change Management and Project Management * Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively and simultaneously with follow-up to completion, as necessary * Strong interpersonal skills in communicating program initiatives and in coordinating multiple tasks * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams and virtual collaboration applications such as Webex and Zoom * Ability to work in Alexandria, VA (once full-telework status ends) Desired Qualifications (desired but not required): * Cybersecurity communications * Understanding of federal grants management * Experience with digital whiteboarding tools (Miro, Mural, etc.) * Familiarity with Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks Essential Functions: Physical Requirements: Most work will be done at a desk or computer. Work Environment: General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Equipment & Machines: General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Attendance: Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.
