Job ID Requisition Id:- 22386 Job Description Infineon Taechnologies is looking for an Applications Engineer to join our Internet-of-Things Compute and Wireless (ICW) business unit in Lynnwood, Washington. As a member of a cohesive, global team you will drive the adoption of leading Infineon technologies including PSoC programmable system-on-chip mixed-signal controllers and our other ARM-based microcontroller families. You will contribute to the development of Infineons innovative family of products and our continued strong revenue growth. Job responsibilities include: Producing system level content in support of new PSoC and microcontroller products, including: Analog and digital system level designs Code examples consisting of firmware, software and/or Verilog Hardware designs including schematic, layout and component selection Technical documentation such as datasheets, technical reference manuals, application notes and knowledge base articles Producing and providing technical training to external customers and Infineon Sales, Marketing and Applications Providing technical support on Infineon products and solutions Engagement with external customers on product requirements and system architecture definition Supporting customer designs and handling technical Q&A related to the solutions developed Skills Technical Bachelors degree in electrical or computer engineering with 0-2 years of experience in embedded development Excellent fundamental knowledge of both analog and digital circuits Experience with C programming required, some assembly language desired Experience on ARM Cortex-M, dual-core experience desired Experience on Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) Experience with standard MCU communication interfaces including UART, SPI and I2C Comfortable with use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, bus analyzers and related electronic equipment for use in test and debug Ability to problem solve and systematically work to root cause Professional Enthusiastic and high-energy with a strong desire to win Self-motivated as an individual contributor Strong sense of customer service Effective oral and written communication skills Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize level of support based on customer needs and management direction Can organize and track a large number of tasks on multiple unrelated projects Smart, honest, innovative and confident Note Cypress is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training or promoting, on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, genetic information, national origin, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, medical condition, U.S. military or protected veteran status, union membership, or political affiliation.
