RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator in Irvine, CA. This role can sit anywhere in Southern California and will be 90 remote after restrictions are lifted. Summary The Cloud Systems Administrator will be responsible for effective provisioning, installationconfiguration, operation, and maintenance of cloud systems and software and related infrastructure for the Relias production environment. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational, industry, and governmental standards. This individual is primarily responsible for hardware and software infrastructure in the production environment. Responsibilities Researching and implementing new infrastructure technologies and cloud solutions Installing newrebuilding existing servers and configure services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and projectoperational requirements Implementing new infrastructure Researching and recommending innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups Developing and maintaining standards Including but not limited to System standards, operational standards, software installation and configuration standards, and standard operating procedures Working closely alongside the software development team for software releases Performing ongoing performance tuning, server upgrades, resource optimization, and periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning REQUIREMENTS Associates degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience 5 years of enterprise Windows System Administration 1 year of Cloud Computing 1 year of Network Fundamentals Microsoft Azure andor other cloud computing experience Web Servers and Serverless Administration Microsoft Windows Server OS experience Networking Basics Data Backup Procedures Storage Principles Nice To Have Enterprise Cloud Computing AdministrationSupport ScriptingPowerShell Docker and Container hosting support Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
