As a Senior Product Manager at Surfline, you'll be responsible for helping to deliver on our mission and passion to help people enjoy the ocean. You'll play a critical role on the Surfline product by setting direction, developing strategy, executing improvements, and delivering value to our users and the business. You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, marketers, designers, researchers and data scientists. On a daily basis, you?ll help to identify opportunities, evaluate business value, prioritize, flesh out concepts, define requirements, evangelize the roadmap, as well as measure and report on product KPIs. The ideal candidate for this particular opportunity is a highly motivated, analytical, and growth-minded Product Manager with experience driving B2C subscriptions and a passion for building a purpose-driven experience that customers love. You'll leverage this expertise, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills, to grow our subscriber base while also improving retention. You are likely a problem-solver and entrepreneur at your root, have a high bar for quality, and are known to go the extra mile to get things done just right. You strive to simplify at every chance but know when it's important to get into the weeds. You have incredible intuition, vision and are exceptionally adept at setting KPI's and hitting them.What You'll Do:+ Own a part of the Surfline product suite, including vision, performance, and backlog.+ Collaborate with the product, design, and marketing teams to identify opportunities, establish a roadmap, and execute strategies to help us meet our goals.+ Work with a cross-functional squad to drive the release, measure results, iterate and meet the objectives of a given initiative.+ Analyze market analysis, product metrics, user/market research, technology trends and determine what initiatives your squad should work on next.+ Define problem definition, solution vision and KPIs for Product initiatives.+ Build relationships across the business with key stakeholders, creating buy-in on the roadmap and initiatives.+ Foster a data and test-driven product development culture.What We're Looking For:+ 4-6 years consumer-facing software product management experience.+ Experience working on a subscription-based product including accounts, billing, IAP, tiers, pricing, etc.+ Experience working within iOS, Android and web ecosystems.+ Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.+ Experience performing product-focused quantitative analysis.+ Demonstrated ability to discuss technical, business and user experience tradeoffs and create a compelling solution.+ Demonstrated ability to define compelling initiatives and drive them to completion with no assistance.+ Entrepreneurial, get it done attitude.+ Deep understanding of business, design, technology, software engineering and agile engineering culture.+ Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, web/native analytics tracking, marketing automation and content management systems.+ Ideally BA/BS in business, computer science or related degree.+ Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SQL/Redshift, Segment, Customer.io, Wordpress, Zendesk and Stripe.
