WaferWire is looking for Data Scientist for a Client in Redmond, WARole: Data ScientistJob Description:Teams mission is to empower M365 end users and IT Admins to achieve more by helping them: Learn, adopt, enjoy, and manage M365 Create impact with powerful content, and Harness the power of experts to help them achieve their goals.Our Data Science team is an established team of data scientists working with product teams to identify actionable insights to help our Office and Windows customers achieve more, and leveraging machine learning to accelerate customer success. Our team culture is dynamic, always learning, inclusive, and extremely customer focused.Responsibilities:You will use the latest techniques in data science, machine learning and experimentation figuring out how to improve user experiences with our innovative products. Are you ready to change the world? You will need to use your experience, passion, and quantitative skills to improve the overall success and exposure of your project(s).Work with product teams to bring data-based solutions to life.Be involved with the entire project lifecycle; designing data or ML solution, collecting training data, building solution, testing and roll-out.Utilize multiple large data set on cutting edge cloud technologies.Develop models of usage and user behavior with application telemetry data.Work with multiple stakeholder groups to formulate their business decisions as data science problems.Qualifications: 5+ years experience in data analytics or data sciencesBachelors Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Machine Learning or a related fieldExperience with SQL or other query languageExperience with PowerBIPreferred Qualifications: R or Python programming backgroundAzure analytics stack (Data Lake, Databricks, etc.)Familiarity with statistical models & and machine learning methodsMasters Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Machine Learning or a related field
