WSP is currently initiating a search for aRegional Program Manager in either the Los Angelesor Sacramento metropolitan areas. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees program and project management of all pre-construction contract award activities within the Central Valley and Southern California (Bakersfield to Burbank Sections) Region in support of the overall implementation of the California High-Speed Rail (CAHSR) program Management of regional staff responsible for implementing the current phase of the transportation program Provide direction to PMs and support team to effectively coordinate and implement the regional program with particular emphasis on environmental clearances Management of regional project of?ce and set regional staff priorities Attend regular management and coordination meetings; chair interdisciplinary staff meetings Respond to higher headquarters requests for status reports, program coordination and monthly status reports Coordinate regional implementation tasks with key stakeholders as required Talent is the essence of meeting our clients objectives, goals and challenges. Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years of advancing responsibilities in transportation program implementation Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, or related field Knowledge of Program implementation for large transportation projects and an understanding of the phases of program implementation Understanding of environmental, engineering and operating requirements for successful regional implementation Familiarity with regional transportation priorities and coordination required to implement the regional transit program within the context of these priorities Experience in executive leadership roles that advanced transportation program implementation Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies Preferred Qualifications: Transportation program management experience Experience in the environmental process for transportation projects Contract and staff management experience
