Posting Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARYResponsible for managing the Software Engineering organization and creating formal enterprise wide strategy and plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications and services. Manage engineering teams that covers end-to-end that includes significantly improve test automation. Manages multiple programs, projects and initiatives from software services perspective. Subject Matter Expertise in Agile, improving flow, embedding continuous improvement and creating predictable delivery culture of all software services.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently supports all efforts to enhance the customer experienceActively and consistently supports different stakeholders to ensure the highest quality software products to our customers through an effective and 24/7 support team.Creates the enterprise wide Software Development strategy in each project and review / refine the strategy based on the organizational needsManages the level of effort and department level budgetsDefines and reviews software metrics across all programs/projects in Software EngineeringManage priorities in the Software Services projects and resolve escalationsReviews data for software process evaluation and improvements and provides recommendations to address the business needsEstablishes a dynamic, highly motivated Software team with outstanding competencies in the company's core products, technologies and processes.Defines and reviews test automation strategiesDefines the QA tools, dashboards, QA metrics required to deliver consistently high quality products and applicationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand EnglishStrong leadership and communication skills (written and verbal)Previous experience as an Engineering C-Level in a small businessExpert ability to communicate with executive leadership - able to convey complex tech issues in simple layman termsAbility to Architect enterprise level agile teams/orgs at scaleProven Subject matter expertise with advanced enterprise Kanban at scaleStrong organizational skillsProven expertise at building hi-tech industry recognized high performance teamsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExperience in managing large teams of size 75+Ability to prioritize, plan and resolve escalations based on the project requirementsAbility to lead a team through delegation, effective team management and motivationAbility to work with cross-functional team and senior leadership teamExcellent ability to work well with shifting prioritiesExcellent ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environmentExperience in Cloud Environment and Software engineeringCritical thinker, ability to negoiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitudeDisplay professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretionProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Access) and tools such as JIRA, GitHub,Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesDrive an innovation culture within the teamEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent work experienceRelated Work Experience14+ years of Software EngineeringWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment
