Thisis an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you andthose we serve at one of America's leading health benefits companies and aFortune Top 50 Company.Advanced Analytics Analyst SeniorThis is a work at home opportunityThe Advanced Analytics Seniorwill reside in a fast-paced team where the ideal candidate would perform datavalidations as well as work with our stakeholders in gathering requirements tocreate product solutions (ie. SSRS reports and Tableau dashboards) with minimumsupervision. Responsible in designing model studies to address specificbusiness issues determined by consultation with business partners. Primaryduties may include, but are not limited to: + Prepares analytical data sets in support of modelingstudies + Build, test, and validate statistical models. + Publishes results and addressconstraints/limitations with high-level business partners. + Proactively collaborates with business partners todetermine identified population segments and develop actionable plans toenable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost andother variables. Qualifications + Requires Graduate-level degree with concentration ina quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, cognitivescience, economics, or operations research + 3-5 years direct experience programming large,multi-source datasets required + 3-5 years in health care setting; or any combinationof education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.+ Advanced experience with Teradata, SQL, SQL Server,ETL tools (SSIS) and Reporting (SSRS/Tableau) or equivalent required+ Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Products (Power BI,Excel Formulas) preferred. + PhD preferred. + Experience with Teradata, SQL, SQL Server, orequivalent. + Proven ability to design modeling studies. + Experience with data models, addressing data qualityissues in study design, constructing robust and efficient analytical datasets. + Significant experience in healthcare related fieldstrongly preferred. + Proven ability to present meaningful results to abusiness audience. + Ability to participate collaboratively in a teamtasked to produce complex analyses on a rigorous schedule. + Strong written and verbal communications skills andthe ability to present to large multi-disciplinary audiences on a regularbasis.Anthem,Inc. is ranked as one of Americas Most Admired Companies among health insurersby Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityInc magazine Top 50 Company forDiversity.
