Position Summary:
Were looking for an aspiring leader to join the Advanced Products team. This role will lead and manage a multitude of projects focused on our automotive projects. This role will have broad exposure leading cross functional teams across the organization and will help shape the future of SiriusXMs 360L offering. More specifically, this role will lead one of the biggest automotive projects this year.
The Senior Product Manager, Automotive will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering, defining and prioritizing product and automotive OEM customer requirements. The Sr. Product Manager will collaborate closely with the SiriusXM User Experience Design team, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Programming, Customer Care, OEM Accounts, IT, Legal, and other corporate stakeholders to clearly communicate and document the features, requirements, and product status for assigned OEM in-vehicle audio applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the product definition and management of automotive products
Work with automotive OEM partners and internal SiriusXM teams to define and document new automotive audio service feature requirements
Make real-time decisions for assigned programs as the subject matter expert for product features and functionality
Coordination across engineering, UX, and connected vehicle teams to drive rich new functionality in-vehicle
Product lead for emerging technologies in the vehicle and identifying how SiriusXM can leverage them to better integrate and improve functionality
Tight coordination across Product Managers and the UX team to ensure UX supports needed functionality for new services/features
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience of product management
1-3 years of experience working with automotive OEMs
1-2 years of experience working in an Agile environment (preferred)
Knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
