POSITION: Information Technology (IT)ManagerLOCATION: San Luis Obispo, CA (Local / Remote role)SUMMARYOur Aviation Services client in San Luis Obispo is seeking a highly motivated and experiencedInformation TechnologyManager. The IT Manager is responsible for leading the companys efforts in allrelated items and ensuring all systems remain online and stable. They must be able to work independently as well as lead the technology team on multiple projects. This roleis responsible for managing day to day IT requests and special projects. They oversee the IT team and responsible for hiring, performance reviews ofstaff members. They will work directly with the management team to design and execute the required technologiesneeded to support operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDuties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management):Lead all company efforts in IT and Security and build a team of talented IT professionals.Ensure systems remain online and stable so that employees and customers alike are provided uninterrupted access to systems.Manage a growing infrastructure of Windows, Chrome OS, and Mac OS devices.Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.Provides leadership for best practices and process across key operational areas, to include ITIL and operational improvements when/as applicableCollaborate with business and technical teams to implement technical requirementsDesign, develop, implement, and coordinate policies and procedures.Maintain IT security and business continuity.Preserve assets, information security, and control measures.Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.Ensures the overall stewardship & delivery of production systems support and aligns support with the technical architecture of the infrastructure systems that will enable the business units to meet current and future business goals.Balances speed, quality, and cost in delivering effective business solution project and baseline support.Able to manage multiple conflicting priorities, re-prioritize tasks, establish priorities, make timely deliverables, and meet deadlines.Provide direction and prioritization to IT staff as well as overseeing professional development including remote team membersDirect and manage engagement development by defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with client requirementsDefine and implement best practices and tools for engagement execution and management based on engagement scope and deliverablesExperience in IT management across multiple sitesQUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCEREQUIRED4+years of IT Management experience2+ years of G Suite admin experience7+ years of IT Experience
