The Federal Reserve has an opening for a Lead AutomationTest Engineer on our Identity Access Management Team. The individual must haveexperience designing test plans based on customer interaction, manuallydemonstrating tests, and contributing to automation frameworks for Identity andAccess Management (IAM) systems as well as related software components usedwithin large, highly integrated and regulated enterprise-classDevelopment/Operations projects. Theposition requires strong systems thinking ability, manual and integration testexpertise, white and gray box analytical skills, attention to detail andsignificant experience with security concepts, databases, and SQL.Essential responsibilities: Design and demonstrate test plans in accordancewith business and functional design to follow established quality assurancestandards.Participate with Agile teams to estimate testeffort, design test plans, and identify risks.Develop, maintain and execute test cases,ensuring the quality and stability of the system throughout the project.Ensure satisfactory service with customers atall levels.Adept in documenting test traceability betweenrequirement, test, and result, as well as reporting test status on timely basisto Test lead/Supervisor/Project Manager.Evaluate, recommend, and implement automatedtest tools and strategies.Identify and implements process improvementopportunities.Contribute to and develop for automatedframeworks including the coding of reusable and data-driven components andfunctions.Develop and update test cases to be automatableand train others on best practices for automated test case design.Analyze and test user and system interfacefunctionality.Participate in detailed reviews and walkthroughswith business partners and customers.Track issues to successful resolution.Collect metrics to measure test progress outcomes.Participate in special projects as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Information Systems or another related field.Typically requires seven or more years of relevanttechnical or business work experience and five or more years of development ortest automation experience.Work with the Selenium tool or similar testframework for automating testing of complex Web-based user interfaces isrequired.Requires, three or more years of experiencedesigning automated test cases and test plans for SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ)and three or more years of experience in descriptive programing.Must be able to develop automated test cases inJAVA, and automating the testing of BeanShell.Expert level experience with either SQL orOracle DBMS required.Must be able to work directly with customers andtranslate technical test-related concepts to a non-technical audience.Excellent interpersonal skills with ability towork effectively with individuals at all levels (i.e. Management, QA, DEV,Business Partners, Security, etc.) and demonstrated ability to successfullyparticipate as a team member on large, complex projects from design through productiondeployment.Strong verbal and written communication skillsand adaptive personality for working with a geographically dispersed team.Expert research and analytical skills involvingtechnical and business process documentation - including system architecture,detailed design, and requirements.Demonstrated experience in developingcomprehensive and accurate test designs and conditions through research andanalysis of documentation; and from socializing with technical and businessexperts.Significant experience designing and executingQA black, white and gray box test conditions.Independent thinker with tenacity to maintainfocus on issues until satisfied they are adequately resolved.Knowledge of industry standards and QA bestpractices.Experience with various SDLC frameworks.Ability to track complex problems in a dynamicand evolving environment to thorough and complete resolution.Must have prior experience working in aregulated industry; prior experience with financial institutions preferred.Willing and able to travel up to 25%Helpful:Expert level experience with SeleniumTest CertificationWe will ensure that individuals with disabilities are providedreasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interviewprocess, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits andprivileges of employment.At the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, we believe in thediversity of our people, ideas, and experiences and are committed to buildingan inclusive culture that is representative of the communities we serve.
