Responsible for providing the strategic direction for multiple product lines and/or services for major existing or new market segment(s). Responsible for setting strategic direction for a Wealth Management product, channel and/or set of initiatives. Designs product, and develops market strategies (i.e. pricing, expense planning, profit plans, packaging, future products, and process and technology advancements, etc.) and goals and assures successful implementation; monitors the achievement of such goals. Formulates and implements policy and procedures. Ensures that application of M&T leadership, values and commitment through direct and indirect managers. May have profit/loss responsibility for the product.
Product life cycle management: Develop the end-to-end life cycle of complex products from ideation through implementation and through maintenance and support.
Product road map definition: Help develop a product feature and release road map based on in-depth data analysis and a clear understanding of user needs and expectations
Prioritization: Clearly define priorities to guide project plans, set clear/measurable objectives and deploy team resources appropriately to achieve business goals
Product Specifications: Write and consult on product specifications, manage design challenges and implement agile product delivery
Analytics: Manage the on-going research to track, monitor and analyze product performance.
Training and Communication: Contribute to the development of marketing material, training programs, operational procedures and systems requirements.
Attain/develop a depth of domain knowledge in order to evaluate current/future state business (and product) objectives and ensure target state architecture alignment with business capability needs, serving as subject matter expert with respect to major business processes and supporting applications/capabilities.
Collaborate closely with all team members including technology, user experience design, and architecture to define and elicit business needs; building to a comprehensive understanding the domain.
Effectively communicate across development, marketing, sales and support
Review new developments in wealth management industry, evaluating and recommending new services or new features
If applies, exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
Understand and adhere to the Companys risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Companys Risk Appetite. Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the Wilmington Trust brand.
Maintain Wilmington Trust internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 14 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations and/or project management experience.
Minimum of 3 years' managerial and/or leadership experience.
Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Strong analytical skills.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:
Knowledge of software programs utilized by department.
