We are currently helping our client, a groundbreaking aerospace and spaceflight company, with their search for a Configuration Data Management Analyst II. Duration - 6-month contract potential for extension or permanent conversion Location - Kent, WA Work sponsorship is not available at this time No C2C Applicants As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management for the next human mission to the moon. We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be a key team member responsible for implementing and executing the configuration and data management systems used by the Advanced development team in support of the Human Landing System development. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and transparency of data to support program milestones and business systems. You and your team will interface directly with NASA and the partner institutions to manage and control the key configuration items required to build an integrated Human Landing System (HLS). Responsibilities Support the development and advancement of configuration management specific to HLS Manage the contractual deliverable data consistent with the company policies. Implementimprove systems as required to enable our teams to move quickly while meeting requirements. Perform periodic configuration audits Ensure configuration management requirements are met and are compliant with all applicable regulatory requirements and standards Establish new processes and implement effective change management as required, communicating cross-business as necessary. Maintain the information and data management systems used by the program Provide product and processes metrics that effectively measure and improve the performance of documentation and configuration management processes as required. Train users on the proper use of configuration management tools and systems Qualifications BABS in engineering or related field 4+ years of direct product configuration management experience in complex systems (Product structure, parts, drawings, and requirements management experience highly desired). Experience in configuration management tools (Windchill preferred), principles and practices Proficient with product lifecycle management (PLM) andor data management tools Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (preferably Office 365 and SharePoint) Familiarity with configuration and data management best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
