We're developing the next generation of financial leaders who want to dramatically change the healthcare industry for the future. The Change Healthcare Accelerated Development Program: Finance Track, is a two-year program that includes challenging rotational assignments and leadership development through participation in formal and informal learning opportunities, as well as mentoring and coaching with some of the best in the industry.

Each rotational assignment is 6 months in length and will provide exposure to a variety of functional areas within the Finance organization. Rotational assignments will focus on developing well-rounded Finance Talent by exposure to multiple areas of a finance organization, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Internal Audit, and more.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting and Forecasting

  • Helps deliver standard reporting (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for applicable business units and companywide.
  • Analyzes key drivers and metrics as compared to historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
  • Assists with identifying incremental revenue or cost saving opportunities through detailed analysis across the business
  • Utilizes financial systems (TM1, SAP, Hyperion, Oracle) to consolidate and report on plans and forecasts, run Month Close Reports and ad hoc reports
  • Maintains and develops various financial models to support decision making. Ensures quality, accuracy and focused analytic review including: Strategic Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Acquisition/Divestiture, Operating Expense trends and analytics

Finance Strategy

  • Assist with analyzing the revenue realization from key sales deals to provide insight and more accurately quantify the value of deals going forward
  • Review and identify opportunities for incremental value through pricing strategies and tactics that support revenue, margin, and solution portfolio objectives
  • Assists with research, analytics and support efforts related to existing products, new products, mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships.

Process Improvement and Documentation

  • Assists with comprehensive financial analysis for projects focused on maximizing revenue and efficiencies while reducing administrative and other costs.
  • Contributes to the development and documentation of policies, procedures and processes.

Project Management

  • Manages assigned project(s).
  • Develops, communicates, and monitors project schedules, budgets and resources.
  • Communicates key areas of concern or risk toward progress and goals.
  • Recommends actions, support and/or resources needed to overcome potential obstacles.

Overall Business / Market / Healthcare Knowledge

  • Acquires an understanding of the business processes in a broad range of operational areas.
  • Acquires an understanding of the relationship and interdependencies between departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 (Resumes must indicate GPA for consideration)
  • No more than two years of relevant full-time professional experience
  • Recent college graduate (no more than two years since graduation)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current/future sponsorship or other restrictions which may cause an interruption in employment

Specific Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong PC skills to include MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Related internship experience
