Title:Vice President, Cyber Security Operations & MonitoringCompany:Everest Global Services, Inc.Job Category:TechnologyJob Description:Everest Global Services, Inc., a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Cyber Security and Technology Risk team as a Vice President Cyber Security Operations & Monitoring at its headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ.This role will report directly to Everest's CISO. Areas of responsibility include leading the design, development, implementation and execution of organization-wide information security platforms. Leading research, development and recommendation of technical and architectural security practices for current and future information security initiatives within Everest from definition phase through implementation and monitoring. Overseeing the security operations, SIEM and other monitoring tools, vulnerability and configuration management, Red Team, and threat intelligence.Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Provide expert direction in managing and implementing Everest's enterprise security strategy and engineering for security services and infrastructure, while considering potential risks in the organization's current technology deployments, to build a successful and strong enterprise security posture.* Oversee a multi-location team responsible for implementing and supporting and configuring security tools (i.e., mobile devices, email, endpoints, network, etc.).* Lead the continued expansions of a Security Operations Center (SOC).* Facilitate incident/response activities.* Lead results analysis of information technology audits and vulnerability reviews, including penetration tests and security design reviews of network infrastructure and applications.* Lead remediation activities or projects within the organization and collaborate with impacted business functions in remediation. Provide inputs into the end to end project deliveries to enforce approved security architecture implementation standards, procedures and methodologies.* Lead the development of infrastructure security metrics for framework maturity, security posture governance, and reporting;* Work closely with relevant stakeholders and provide expert guidance on best practices and use cases for IAM & PAM infrastructure tools and technologies.* Review the organization's information security engineering and platforms to identify integration issues and opportunities to enhance information security practices.* Provide extensive support and assistance to senior leadership for decision on future investments and addressing complex issues impacting Everest security architecture.* Review and approve implementation of emerging security technologies and latest regulatory and compliance requirements for security policies, operational standards and security control framework to enhance operational services.Work Experience and Qualifications* Experience deploying Information Security tools (network, database, authentication, etc.) and products.* Broad knowledge of security engineering and controls in various infrastructure platforms including network (physical, virtual, internal, cloud), system platforms, storage, directory services, and end user computing; understanding of business processes and risk implications.* Results oriented and ability to balance multiple priorities and projects.* Ability to conduct vulnerability reviews and devise steps to remediate audit feedback.* Hands-on experience with IAM tools and architecture, data loss protection and encryption protocols.* Experience developing security metrics measuring framework maturity, security posture, governance and reporting.* Deep knowledge of cloud computing security architecture.* Experience orchestrating incident/response recovery steps and formulating table-top scenario exercises.* Knowledge of security regulations and standards, e.g., NYDFS 500, GDPR, ISO etc.* Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks/assignments, and meet deadlines.* Up to date on IT security and IT risk trends.* Excellent customer service, organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.* Ability to work independently and within a team.* Quick learning capability of new tools and technologies.* Insurance and/or financial services business knowledge background a plus.* Ability to read, analyze and interpret federal and state regulations, general business periodicals, professional security journals, etc.Type:RegularTime Type:Full timePrimary Location:Liberty Corner, NJAdditional Locations:Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, New York, NYEverest is an equal opportunity employer.
